Chef Karel Leemkuil is a classically trained chef from The Netherlands. For over two decades he has been working as an Executive Chef in world class operations in restaurants, resorts, hotels and cruise lines. As a recent transplant to the Chapel Hill area Chef Karel is eager to share his knowledge and passion for food. Join Chef Karel as he takes us to his personal Provence through his artful and delicious presentation of this summer menu.

Menu: Tomato Pure (Salt from Camarque / Virgin Olive Oil from Provence / Basil Leaves); Herb de Provence-Crusted Goat Cheese with a Petit Salad and Vegetables and a Honey, Lemon and Lavender Vinaigrette; Roasted Monkfish “Persillade” (Parsley, Garlic, Butter, Bread Crust); Roasted Eggplant Coulis and a Fondue of Summer Squash, Zucchini, Tomato and Shallots; Grilled Scallops with Rouille, Speck, Grated Pecorino Cheese, Crispy Leeks and Orange Segments
