North Carolina is a major supplier of heirloom variety apples and during September and October can be found all over the roadside stands and farmer’s markets. In our classroom, the kids will learn that there is more to apples than just pie and sauce!
Menu: Chicken Apple Burgers with Apple Bacon Slaw; Apple Streusel Muffins; Fried Apples and Ice Cream.
