A Night of Bubbly with Domaine Chandon

Join us Thursday, August 16 at 6 pm in the Weathervane Oak Room for a Meet & Greet event featuring Domaine Chandon sparkling wines, hor d'oeuvres and a chance to learn from Brian Fairleigh.

In 1973, Domaine Chandon became the first French winery to produce wines in California’s Napa Valley.  Now 60 unique base wines from 25 vineyards; using traditional French champagne varietals (Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier), create these extraordinary sparkling cuvées.  By marrying French roots and traditional methods with the finest cool-climate California fruit, Domaine Chandon makes sparkling wine that reflects the local character and stays true to centuries’ old winemaking practices.

About Brian Fairleigh:

A graduate of the Global Wine Studies program at Central Washington University, Brian traveled around the world studying wine with extended stays in Champagne, France; Mendoza, Argentina; and Santiago, Chile. In 2010, he moved to Napa Valley and began his tenure with Domaine Chandon where he has  served first as a Tasting Room Host, then as Brand Ambassador and Trade Visits Coordinator until being promoted to Winery Brand & Wine Education Manager in 2017.  Brian has an in depth understanding of the sparkling winemaking process as well as its sensory characteristics and food pairing versatility. His diverse experience at Domaine Chandon has allowed him a thorough understanding of not only the Chandon brand and its history but also of its entire portfolio of wines.

All featured wines will be 20% during this event.
