Clam Dip and Bloody Marys

Quick Facts:

A perfect combination to start off a summertime weekend brunch!


Clam Dip
8 oz mascarpone cheese
1 – 6.5 oz can chopped clams, drained
2 slices crisply cooked bacon, chopped
1 Tbsp clam juice from can
Juice and zest of ½ lemon
1 Tbsp capers, minced
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 green onion, minced or small bunch chives, chopped
Salt and pepper, to taste

Bloody Mary
2/3 cup bloody mary mix
1 oz vodka
Pickled vegetables for garnish such as okra, green tomatoes, pickled onion (or try our Southern Pickle Sampler)

Bloody Mary Mix
2 cups tomato juice
¼ cup lemon juice
2 tsp hot sauce
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp horseradish
1 tsp celery seed
Jacobsen Salt Bloody Mary Rimmer

Clam Dip
1. Combine all ingredients. Taste for seasoning.

Bloody Mary
1. Combine bloody mary mix and vodka in a pitcher. Stir to blend.
2. Rub a lemon around the rim of the glass.
3. Dip in Bloody Mary Rimmer.
4. Add ice to glass and pour in the Bloody Mary.
