Steak and Eggs

Quick Facts:

Serves 4


2 boneless New York Strip steaks, ¾ inch thick
¼ cup steak rub
2 Tbsp grapeseed oil
½ cup steak sauce
4 farm fresh local eggs


1. Season steak with rub. Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium high heat. Brush with oil. Sear steaks on both sides until desired doneness, about 5 minutes per side for medium rare (140 degrees). Let rest.
2. Heat remaining oil in non stick pan or skillet. Crack eggs into the pan or into a bowl and gently pour into the pan. Season lightly with steak rub and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side until white is cooked through. Slide onto steak and serve.
