Kids in the Kitchen

Southern Season offers hands-on classes and events for kids. We lead kids on exciting cooking adventures where budding chefs of all ages learn recipes and skills to create tasty, healthy dishes. Cooking is fun, and "real food" is really good!

Our kitchen classes for children are designed for ages 8-12 years old.  Occasionally classes will be offered for teens, and will be marked as such.  Careful thought is given to this age range due to our facility.  Our classroom is designed to look like a home kitchen and therefore does not have specially sized equipment or counter heights for younger children.

Our facility also provides a comfortable area for parents to hang out outside of the classroom for those who wish to stay and wait.  If you are thirsty, step downstairs to the wine bar where you can purchase a beverage by the glass.

Occasionally we will offer “Parent and Child” classes.  This is an opportunity for parents to come and bring one or all children to learn together without facing the cleanup that you would at home.  Please purchase one ticket per participant for these classes.
