Edalo, Zalema, Spain

This Andalucían white, which is a region that excels in fortified wines is really quite hot.  It's made from 100% Zalema which delivers something with a unique fingerprint that is also very good to drink. It's a crisp, dry, summery wine with quince, liquorice, some grassy notes to the nose.  Lime citrus and ripe Williams pear are present on the palate along with hints of papaya.

Salsus, Vinho Verde, Portugal

This wine is a blend of Trajadura, Loureiro, Arinto.  The grapes are destemmed, fermented in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature.  This wine is from the D.O.C. region of Vinho Verde.  This blend has a brightness to it with a pronounced and youthfully fresh nose of citrus fruit and minerals.  And, it tastes as young and vibrant as it smells: spritz of citrus fruit, mineral, shale, crisp acidity and a clean refreshing finish

Barone Fini, Pinot Grigio, Italy

Well recognized for producing Pinot Grigio of the highest caliber, Barone Fini Pinot Grigio is crisp and clean and focused.  On the palate it shows subtle citrus and apple/pear flavors and balanced acidity with a finish that lingers.  They were awarded DOC (Denominazione di origine controllata) status in 1975.

Charles Baur, Gewurztraminer, France

This Gewurztraminer was picked and sorted by hand, matured on fine lees over a ten month period.  It displays aromas of roses, lychees and candied fruit. It is round and generous in the mouth, well-balanced and full of flavor, coming off of 30 year old vines.  Delicious as an aperitif, being medium dry.  This wine also carries the organic certification FR-BIO-01.

Arnoux & Fils P’tit Clocher Blanc

On the nose lies a powerful bouquet of wild flowers, embellished with delicate citrus notes.  On the palate this wine is fresh and fruity in a bold and generous decor.  While it is fruit forward and very drinkable, this Vaucluse local wines can be enjoyed easily and on every occasion.  This is a blend of 50% Clairette, 40% Grenache Blanc, and 10% Bourboulenc.   This wine would go great with appetizers, salads, grilled fish, and poultry.

Case Ibidini, Insolia, Sicily

Impressive for its purity and refreshing mineral qualities, Valle dell'Acate takes the Inzolia varietal to a whole new level of quality.  From vineyards in eastern Sicily where the soils are full of limy tufa, this 100% Inzolia is typically a crisp, unoaked, fruity dry white that highlights the varietal's natural citrusy profile with mineral verve

The tannins are well-balanced and the finish is long… a Bright and peppery wine.

Arnoux & Fils P’tit Clocher Rouge

Fruity and cheerful, the Vins de Pays de Vaucluse (regional wines) may be enjoyed in total simplicity and on all occasions. They are the usual accomplices of convivial celebrations.  This wine has a pretty deep red color, a subtle nose exuding red fruit and wild berries aromas, a fruity mouth, generous and well balanced.  This blend is comprised of 75% Grenache, 15% Cinsault, and 10% Syrah all grown in Clay-limestone soil, river stones.  This red blend is best enjoyed young and eaten with poultry, grilled red meat, and charcuteries.

Château Moulinat, Bordeaux, France

Château Moulinat, from the top of whose windmill we can see Château Lafite Rotschild to the North and Château Margaux to the South, has been reconstituted over the last 30 years and planted with 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% merlot, 5 % cabernet Franc which produce wines which express the Médoc terroir beautifully irrespective of vintage.  You’ll find a deep purple robe with fruit aromas of black fruits, berries, and cassis; along with notes of vanilla.  This wine is soft on the attack but full bodied with plenty of depth and balance, and structure.

Julien Schaal, The Elements, Shiraz, South Africa

Young Julien Schaal – already a winemaking veteran in both South Africa and France – has been called “the savior of South African Syrah.” In part, it’s because he virtually uniquely manages wines which are rich, pure and appealing, but also without a trace of the typical South African tarry rusticity.  With powerful aromas of eucalyptus, black pepper and a palate full of blackberries and blueberries, this wine aims to please with its smooth finish and amazing drinkability.

Tall Sage, Red Blend, Columbia Valley, Washington

This Red Wine Blend is a balanced expression of rich fruit flavors with the characteristic structure of Washington wines. Expressive mineral and savory aromas are balanced with light barrel toast and creaminess. The palate is smooth and inviting with dark lively fruit flavors of plum and blackberry layered with notes of coffee and spice. The soft structure of the wine seamlessly carries the fruit expression onto the finish which continues to show delicate dark fruit flavors.
