Chef: Christian Chiron
Chef Chiron is from a small community in the Loire Valley in western France. This is an important place of inspiration as he strives to cook food with fresh produce and great proteins. Chef Chiron attended l’Ecole Hoteliere in Saumur. He trained a number of years in charcuterie. As a young chef, he came to work in a French-style delicatessen in Philadelphia. Chef Chiron owner-operated a luncheonette/ specialty catering establishment. He later relocated to the Finger Lakes area of New York, where he owned and operated two other food businesses, cooked in fine dining restaurants, and was in executive catering at the Corning Corporate headquarters.
Chef Chiron does not prefer one style of cooking or get caught up with trendy dishes or fusion fare. His philosophy is simple. Cooking should honor the farmer and the animal. Eat and drink what you like.
