Fridays Uncorked: Alpine Wines featuring Rise over Run

  • Date: Friday, September 20th
  • Time: 5:00 PM- Last Pour

Join us Friday, March 16th at 5 PM as we welcome Ryan Brazell from Rise over Run.  He will be here pouring a selection of the following "alpine" wines:

  • NV Domaine Rolet Cremant du Jura Rose - 50% each Poulsard & Pinot Noir
  • 2016 Henri Cruchon 'le Morget Selection' Chasselas
  • 2016 La Cave du Prieure Roussette de Savoie
  • 2016 Pascal & Annick Quenard 'la Sauvage' Mondeuse
  • 2013 Domaine du Beudon Gamay

About Rise over Run and Ryan Brazell:

Accomplished sommelier and part owner of Rise Over Run,  Ryan Brazell, will be here to pour a selection of wines from his very own diverse portfolio.  Rise Over Run is an anthology of singular wines from steep and often challenging sites, and the dedicated families who farm them.  The inception of Rise Over Run emanated from the mutual passion and respect for challenging winegrowing landscapes, often individuated by vertical, rocky slopes where little else can thrive. Many are viticultural marvels, and the finished wines are expressions that could not be recreated elsewhere. “Our book is a compilation of these wines that have stories to tell, and we are excited to be the ones doing so.”

Friday’s Uncorked is a great way to start the weekend. This event is complimentary. This is an enriching way to expand your wine knowledge while mingling with friends.

All featured wines are 20% off during this event, that will be held from 5 pm to the last pour.

The opulent dinner parties thrown by Salvador Dalí (1904-1989) and his wife and muse, Gala (1894-1982), were the stuff of legend. Luckily for us, Dalí published a cookbook in 1973, Les Diners de Gala, which reveals some of the sensual, imaginative, and exotic elements that made up their notorious gatherings."Les diners de Gala is uniquely devoted to the pleasures of taste. If you are a disciple of one of those calorie-counters who turn the joys of eating into a form of punishment, close this book at once; it is too lively, too aggressive, and far too impertinent for you."--Salvador Dalí
