Fess Parker vs. The World!

Elizabeth Cooper, the former wine director here at Southern Season, is coming back to the Cooking School for this very special event.  Liz, who now represents Fess Parker Winery, and Chetan Reddy, the current wine director for Southern Season, will showcase four wines each in a great comparison of California varietals from Fess Parker compared to the same varietals found around the world. 

When Fess Parker purchased the 714 acre Foxen Canyon Ranch in 1988, his plan was to run cattle, plant a few acres of vineyard and perhaps someday, establish a small winery. His dream was to start a family business that he could pass on to future generations.  Now Eli Parker and his sister, Ashley, remain involved as stewards of their father’s vision with Blair Fox, assuming the role of head winemaker in 2005.
